    (Please note: The given dates are boarding dates. Hawila will be leaving the harbors the day after. Departure dates may vary depending on the weather conditions and other factors.)



    Grouped sailing legs:

    An intense sailing trip on about 370 nautical miles between Denmark and Norway as part of the Tall Ship Race. This leg reflects diversity with some long day and night sailing, some amazing landscapes with the arrival in Norway, and some beautiful scenery sailing as part of a fleet of hundred vessels.     Explore the South coast of Norway and its festivals along this leg. Expect to see some of the most amazing landscapes of the trip with beautiful day sailing on about 260 nautical miles in the Norwegian and Swedish fjords. See more details on individual sailing legs below.

    This leg explores the Scandinavian coast through the visit of some of the most beautiful Swedish and Danish islands. Expect some intense day and night sailing in Kattegat and around the Danish archipelago on about 350 nautical miles. See more details on individual sailing legs below.


    Individual sailing legs:

    Departure after the premiere of "Into the water" in Copenhagen on the 1st of July with a nice sailing across Kattegat to join the Tall Ship Race in Aalborg. Expect day and night sailing in Kattegat on about 150 nautical miles. We will arrive in Aalborg where several ships will be gathered with festivities for the departure of the race. We will also host the show and the Wandering festival on Hawila.

    Hawila will be sailing from Aalborg with hundreds of other sailing vessel for the first leg of the Tall Ship Race towards Frederikstad. Expect day and night sailing in Kattegat & Skagerrak on about 160 nautical miles. At our arrival in the city we should expect several festivities around the Tall Ship Race and the “into the water” show as well as Wandering festival on Hawila.

    A beautiful sailing along the Oslo fjord. If time and weather permit Hawila will drop anchor every night on the way to Oslo. Expect day sailing in the Oslo fjord on about 60 nautical miles. Hawila will arrive in Oslo for the European Green Capital 2019 where we will host show and festival onboard.

    Hawila will be sailing down the Oslo fjord. If time and weather permit we will drop anchor every night on the way to Oslo. Expect day sailing in the Oslo fjord on about 50 nautical miles.

    Sail in the beauty of the norwegian fjords on this leg of about about 60 nautical miles along the coast. Expect day sailing Toward the Risør Trebåtfestival. Risør is the birth place of Hawila, and the vessel and the show will have a central place at the festival.

    Sail the beautiful norwegian coast between Risør and Arendal on this leg of about 30 nautical miles. We will arrive in Arendal just on time for the Arendalsuka political festival where Hawila will host the show Into the Water and the Wandering festival.

    Cross Skagerrak and Kattegat on this intense leg of about 120 nautical miles. Expect day and night sailing towards Gotheborg, and perhaps rough conditions in Skagerrak.

    Explore one Swedish and one Danish small island on this leg. We will sail from Gothenburg to the neighbooring island of Öckerö where Hawila has spent more than the 2/3 of her life! There the community that took care of her will host us and will provide a place for us to moor the ship and host the show. The we will sail about 120 nautical miles accross Kattegat between to reach the Danish Island of Samsø, also known as the “sustainability” island.

    This leg explores the beauty of the Danish islands on about 60 nautical miles. Departure from Samsø, and arrival in Svendborg where we will host the show and festival onboard. 

    This is the last leg of our tour heading back for Copenhagen. We will sail between the german and Danish coast on about 170 nautical miles before returning home and present the last show of the summer for the Copenhagen World Music Festival!
